Not Dead

Heh. Wow, been almost two weeks since I last posted. To sum it up in a nutshell... things have been busy. And although busy, there is very little to report. Nevertheless... here's is whats going on with me.

The Birthday Par-tay

... Was fantastic. Nelson and Lindsay really know how to throw a shin-dig. And it reminded me of the days of ye ole 711 and 622 Darrow. There was plenty of fun to be had and plenty of BJ's walking around. No not that kind stupid. The them of the party was "come dressed as B.J. or Brandon." Here are the winners.

I'd post more, but I don't want to clog this blog with pictures. Plus... not all of them are exactly appropriate for public consumption. Don't need to get my certificate revoked. Heh. But you know me, send me an e-mail and I'll link you to the rest.

New Phone

So with my new found oldness.... I also found out that my phone contract was up. So I got a new phone. What kind of phone you ask? Well I got a Blackberry. yea I know... La-di-da! I've only had it since Monday of this week and it is pretty cool. I can check my e-mail, send unlimited texts, and it even has GPS. So now I'm pretty sure I won't get lost no matter where I am going. Heh.

If you by chance have unlimited texts... let me know! There are plenty of times during the day when I have 5 minutes to kill. Heh.

Teaching... on the side.

So since I last post, I've gotten a few improv teaching gigs. I taught for Village Productions last week and will be doing another class for them this coming Monday. Also this Saturday, I am doing a class for The Actors Center. What subject you may ask? Math? English? History? Nope. Improv. Yea I know. Pretty sweet. Shame I can't do that 5 days a week. It is exhausting... but fun. Nice to see there are some funny kids out there.

The N Crowd Turns 3

Big day tomorrow.

3 years of The N Crowd.

Need I say more?

Par-tay

Well tonight I'm going to a party. Whose party? My party. And Brandon's. We are having a "Come as B.J. or Brandon" theme party. The idea... come dressed as BJ or Brandon. heh. It should be great. I am bringing my camera, so I'll have pictures later. :)

Back Into The Swing of Things

Well this is the first full weekend back from my adventurous last two weeks of march. Last weekend I was in Florida for Wrestlemania while the previous weekend I was in Erie for Easter. So this weekend... be it that I just stayed home, it was a nice change of pace.

This week however, I was sick. Apparently while in Florida... I picked up a bug. So I was sick Monday night, Tuesday, Wednesday... most of Thursday. I manage to shake it on Friday, although it is still lingering even today.

Other then that, the rest of the week was spent resting.

The show on Friday was pretty good. We had 31 people and I made my return back to the stage. I thought I was pretty funny. This week will be great however. My birthday is Thursday, Brandon's is on Friday, and on Saturday we are having an N Crowd party.

The theme: Come dressed as B.J. or Brandon

Heh.

Last Post From Floridia

So I was sick all day today.. mainly from yelling and screaming last night. My head was pretty congested today, had a headache, and my throat was sore. But now I am feeling marginally better.

WWE Hall of Fame

This was the night before Wrestlemania. It was pretty good... but also very long. It started at 7 p.m. and went to 11:30 p.m. The funny thing was, that the "Broadcast" of the show started at 11 p.m. So the rebroadcast of the show started before the actual show ended. Ric Flair had a great speech and it was very emotional. Everyone in the crowd was crying as he thanked everyone for their continued support of his career. All in all.. it was really nice.

Wrestlemania!

The next day was Sunday: Wrestlemania. After a big lunch at Fridays, Steve and I went over to the show. Ray met up with some friends and met us over there. We took a shuttle bus from the fairgrounds to the Citrus Bowl. It was a great idea... because the place was a zoo with everyone trying to find parking.

The even was fantastic! I really enjoyed almost all of the matches and we had some great seats. I am pretty sure you'll be able to pic us out on the DVD when it comes out. I think my favorite two matches were Undertaker vs. Edge and Shawn Michals vs. Ric Flair. I alot of pictures... but hardly any of the matches turned out okay. But the pictures of the set turned out nice, but it was too dark and I was just a little to far away from the ring to get pictures.

Here are some good ones:

A Note From Wrestlemania

Taking some good pictures down here.

Working on a nice long post of my adventure down here with pictures... will probably finish it tonight or tomorrow. Tune back later!

A Post From The Sunshine State In A Steel Cage

(Written in the morning... posted at 1:15 a.m.)

I'm writing you from the DoubleTree hotel in sunny Orlando Florida. Tonight is Wrestlemania, and I've got to say... I've got some pretty decent seats. But it has been an eventful few days.

Friday

Friday was Natalie's wedding. I picked up Ray, who was going to Wrestlemania with me, and we went to her wedding in New Jersey. It was a very nice affair. The ceremony was held in a Roman Catholic Church, which I hadn't been to in a while. (I don't think anyone in my family are RC's.) Everyone from The N Crowd was there... even Kristen who got lost and well.... showed up a little late. Heh.

After the wedding, we jetted over to the reception. Unfortunately, our flight to Florida was that night so we had to leave early. However... we did get a group picture with The N Crowd and Natalie in her wedding dress before we left. It was really good and I'm hoping to post that picture later on this blog. It was really nice. I just wish we could have stayed a little longer... the food was really good and I'm sure it was a good time.

So we zipped over to the Airport and caught our flight to Florida.

Friday into Early Saturday Morning

So we got to Florida and walked forever to get our bags. (Ray checked a bag, I didn't.) The new went to get our car... which was a frickin... adventure, because there were idiots working at the Avis car rental thing. Ugh. We finally got to the Hotel.. met up with my friend Steve from College and settled in for the night at around 3 a.m.

Next morning, we woke up and went to an autographing session. It was actually alot of fun. We had to stand for like 90 or so minutes waiting to get in... but once we did, it was great. Here are a few photos with me and a few wrestlers:

The rest of the day was spent at Universal Studios. It's actually a pretty nice park. I really liked it. I think my favorite ride was Disaster Studios.. mainly because it had Christopher Walken in a video in it. heh.

That night we went to the Hall of Fame induction ceremony. It was long... but fun to see all of the old wrestlers. Definitely worth the trip.

--- end of morning post ---

So... it's after 1 a.m. Wrestlemania was fantastic... but now I am going to bed. I'll be heading to a hotel tomorrow near the airport. My flight is coming back on Tuesday, so I should have plenty of time to write something up then.

Wedding and Wrestlemania!

Back from Easter last weekend and have a busy weekend on tap.

Today I am heading to New Jersey to attend Natalie's wedding, and then tonight I am flying to Floridia to see WRESTLEMANIA!

Should be a great weekend. I'm bringing my camera so hopefully I'll have some pictures to post.

And hopefully I'll be able to post a bit this weekend as well.

I know... I've been lazy in terms of posting.

Easter

Today I am heading into the city and picking up my brother. When we get back home, we are heading up to my grandmother's for Easter. It is about... a... 6 or so hour trip. So, it'll take up most of my day. She lives out in rural Western PA, so there isn't any high speed Internet out there. She does have an old computer, running on Windows 98 with a dial up.

So... hopefully... I'll still be able to check my mail. Every now and again.

But this means of course that I will miss The N Crowd's performance tonight. Sigh. I hate missing shows. And I'm still missing next week's show as well. Guess I'll make my dramatic return in April.

Happy Easter Everyone!

A Short Week

So school districts are in the middle of Spring Break. Meaning teachers aren't sick and I am not working. One school district's spring break is starting tomorrow, so I did work Monday and will be working tomorrow. I could have picked up a job today, but I didn't sleep all that well last night. In addition, I haven't had a full day to get stuff done in... 2 weeks. Last two weekends have been anything but restful... so it is nice to get some stuff done today.

This weekend, I am heading up to the Erie, PA area for Easter. Which means... shock... I won't be at this week's show. This is the first show I have missed in... well... since last Easter. And then the following week... I won't be at that show either because I'll be in Orlando, FL for Wrestlemania.

Pretty sweet huh?

My Puppy Is Going To Miss Me

I haven't been home since Friday morning.

Am I running away and joining the circus?

Did I join the Ron Paul Revolution?

Have I been kidnapped and am foolishly using time away from my captors to post on my blog?

No on all accounts. I've been in Philadelphia this weekend. Here's what I've been up too:

Friday

Had an improv show in Philadelphia. Despite the rain and ickiness of the weather, it overall went pretty well. We were pretty funny and we had a good sized crowd out to the show. I had two funny parts of the show that I really enjoyed. First was during Good Cop, Bad Cop. Mike was the suspect and Natalie and I were the cops. During the show, I started to insult Mike. To the crowd it wasn't clear that if I was insulting his character or him personally. Finally it became very clear what I was doing and we started to just yell at each other on stage making fun of each other's hair, weight, height, and personality. Mike had friends in the audience, so they thought this was hilarious!

The other game was during Superfreeze. Jess had built a robot, me. When she turned me on, I just began to repeat what she was saying. Eventually we went 2 minutes where we were both saying the same thing at the same time. Jess and I work really well together, so she sets me up beautifully for jokes and I try to do the same for her.

Saturday

It rained all day on Saturday. So much, that there was some flooding. We had a big 3 hour business meeting where I thought we got alot done. We had pizza and soda, always a positive for a meeting. Hopefully we'll be taking The N Crowd into some great new directions soon. I also caught a show at the Shubin theater, but my leg started to hurt so I bailed on the second show and went back to Brandons for some So Co.

Sunday

At the moment, everyone is a sleep upstairs. (Yes it is 11:24 a.m.) I guess that day light savings jump really kicked their ass. Heh. I plan on hanging around down here in Philadelphia for the day. I am hoping to hook up with Greg and Matt to discuss Hopper Brothers things, but we'll see how that works out.

Tonight, I am going to the Shubin for a Fundraiser. I am actually helping with it... they are having a date auction. It's called "The Parade of A-holes." Basically, some of us are getting together and doing these jerk bag characters. It starts at 7 p.m. tonight. Should be fun.

Then... finally... I'll be going home and my puppy will be so happy to see me.

Side note: The thing down right below this post, went well.
