I Used To Blog Every Other Day
Now it seems like I write in this every other week.
Oh well. I 've been busy! With what you ask? Well allow me to tell you.
Improv
So our old gig at the Society Hill Playhouse has pretty much run it's course. It's nice and it's great to have a bar there, but there is just way to much overhead. The parking is terrible. And we do not have free reign there as we did at 213 New Street. There... a show would end at 10, and we'd leave around 12 a.m. At SHP, a show would end at 10 and they wanted everyone out by 10:01 p.m.
So it is time for us to move on. And we have... we are going to the Actor's Center. Through the wonderful work of Kristen, she put us in touch with her agent. (Who's son was in A Christmas Story apparently!) and we worked out a good deal. I put together a proposal that we split the costs equally among the group and split profits by attendance. The group accepted and we are moving forward. Everyone seems to be pretty pleased.... so am I. I really think we can make it work there.
The Job
Well despite what Pottsgrove and Pottstown has said.... there has not been a peep from them since my job interviews. I have heard of plenty of other people getting jobs from them, but alas.. they decline to tell me what my status is. Needless to say I am a bit... put off... by their lack of faith in me.
Arizona Here I Come!
Next week I am heading off to what is becoming a yearly tradition of mine. Heading down to Arizona for a few days to visit Haley and my Arizona family. I've been there... 3 times now and everyone is alway excited to see me each time I come down. In fact.. they always suggest I should move down there. It would be great to live closer to Haley... but I'm not much for the heat and sunny days everyday of the week. :) I like rain once aweek and snow. And central AZ is not the place for that!
But I am looking forward to seeing ole Haley and the new BABY! I need to find the charger for my camera so I can take lots of pictures down there.
Well I suppose I should get going. I am at work and what not. It's just that everyone has gone to a meeting and I've run out of stuff to do. So I got to sit here and look like I'm doing something important.
Well I hope you enjoyed the blog, Nelson and Erin. I guess you two are the only ones who read this. Ha!
